I live in an apartment complex that allows pets but there is a small issue with mice getting into the apartment, we usually don’t see them and they haven’t gotten into any food but we’ll occasionally find droppings in corners and things like that. The idea of the mice just being in the apartment unsettles my mom so she asked me to find a pet that would help. I’m leaving back to college this fall and her job has her working outside of the house for around 16-17 hours a day. So I guess I’m looking for a pet that would either scare away or catch the mice that’s also relatively low maintenance since remote learning is ending and I won’t be here all day anymore.
(Edit) I’ve thought about an older cat that won’t be all over the place but would they be able to combat the mouse issue?
