Roommates Cat

I’ve been trying to deal with my roommates cat for two years. Vicious cat, attacks people at random times and has scarred me when I’m just sitting there. Roommate laughs it off that the cat just likes her the best. I’ve never met such a mean cat and guests are always asking me what the hell is wrong with her. She poops in the tubs and sinks and has destroyed much of my personal property (large furniture). I keep it together because I know it’s my roommates baby. We have another cat who’s the sweetest thing. Roommate told me to finally get a dog, a dog I’ve been working toward for 26 years and found an amazing puppy. I was told cat grew up with a dog and we would do a very gradual transition. I stupidly believed it (but also this dog is the best puppy I’ve ever met). Brought baby home after long car trip and kept her in my room while she acclimated. Crazy cat darted in when roommate was leaving my room and went into the scariest most vicious attack I’ve ever seen. I was screaming in terror and blocking my puppy. My arm is completely shredded and severely damaged my wrist (to the point where I can’t even go to work because my work involves my hands all day). The idea of what she would have done to the puppy if I hadn’t blocked her makes me want to vomit. I cried forever and the puppy was terrified. My room was covered in blood (luckily all mine). Took baby to my parents house and have been letting her relax here. Is it unreasonable to just want that cat gone? I don’t want to even go back alone to the apartment she makes me so sick to my stomach. Puppy is 8 weeks and I’m terrified she’s going to remember this forever.
