Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I hear clawing noises underneath my bed. If I’m lucky I can catch my cat in the act before she stops, and I see that she’s trying to dig up into my mattress. She recently did this to my roommates box spring, so she’s not allowed in his room anymore.
She has a crazy amount of energy compared to my other cat, and we just moved into a new, much smaller apartment than the condo she was raised in. I’m wondering if the smaller space and amount of energy she has is causing her to do this? She used to bounce off the walls and tire herself out before bed, but now it’s a little harder for her to do that, so I’m worried that this is where she’s putting the energy. Any suggestions on what to do would be very helpful!
