One scarfs food, one is a grazer….HELP

I’ve had my cat for a year now, and we are adopting another cat in a few days. Our current cat has issues with his food. He scarfs his food down way too quickly, and doesn’t know when to stop. He will eat any food he can get until he makes himself sick and vomits (he’s had this issue since we adopted him a year ago, he was a stray and presumably ate that way on the streets). We have him on a good routine now that prevents the vomiting, so he eats smaller portions throughout the day. According to the shelter, the new cat we’re adopting is a grazer when she eats. My worry is that if she has food in her bowl, my current cat will eat it and make himself sick, and she will not get enough food. When she arrives, I want to end the grazing and get her on a feeding schedule that matches the current cat. I just have no idea how to get her on a schedule and end the grazing. Any advice?
