My RES turtle lives in an outdoor enclosure but I couldn't find it anywhere today. The enclosure has a small pond, tall grass for it to hide in, and is enclosed by a small fence. It had been living there for a few months now without any issues, so I don't know how it would have got out. There are no holes or anything near the edge of the enclosure and the fence does not seem to be disturbed at all. I checked the surrounding area of my yard too and found no trace. I cut down the tall grass in case it was hiding there but found nothing. Any idea of what could have happened?
