I know cats need to posture and hiss and swat as part of their introductions but the stray doesn't hiss at all. He squats to the floor on his belly and just lets our other cat jump all over him and bite the shit out of him. HARD. He's pulling at his skin and it looks horribly painful but the stray never makes a noise. We separate and the stray immediately runs back to the room we keep him in to hide.
How do I stop our cat from being so mean? We don't even care if they're friends, we just want them to be able to coexist. They have separate areas. Separate litter boxes, food, etc. Everything. I'm at my wits end with my cat.
