so last week my dog that i’ve had for about a month bit off a small chunk of my friends upper lip, he needed eight stitches and will probably have to get plastic surgery as a result. anyways i’m wondering if you guys think that’s enough of a reason to give up the dog back to the animal shelter? aside from this incident he’s been a total sweetheart. apparently the reason he was given up to the shelter before i got him was because he snapped at a kid who got too close to him while he was eating, so it’s not his first incident so i’m afraid they might put him down if i surrender him. i’m thinking if i keep him than i can take him to a trainer and always keep a muzzle on him. what do you guys think i should do?
