At a family gathering I brought my dogs to come and enjoy the big yard my grandfather owns. During dinner I noticed my great uncle give one of my dogs something. I asked him to not feed the dogs food because it causes them to beg and bother others. He replied with the fact that he didn’t give my dog food but in fact marijuana. (It’s legal in my state) At first I was a little upset about the overstep of boundaries but people tell me I tend to be a tad bit overprotective of my dogs so I let it go. It’s now after dinner and looked it up and it says weed is fatal to dogs. Now I’m really concerned that something could happen to my best friend who already has some health issues from old age. I don’t know how much he gave but my dog doesn’t seem all too different. Do any of you know how this will affect my dog? And if I should go to the vet?
