Hi there, my girlfriend and I have a 10 almost 11 month old Shih poo and for the past few months she has been the PICKIEST eater in the world!!! We have tried a bunch of different dry kibble brands, dry kibble with freeze dried meat in it, different flavors of kibble, freeze dried patties, meal toppers, dehydrated kibble and then hydrating it. We’ve tried wetting the food, added veggies, adding bone broth, everything!! She usually has about 2-3 days of consistency with eating her whole meal out of her bowl but after that, not a chance. Once we put food out she takes a sniff and walks away, we sometimes grabs a couple kibbles then just walks away and eats them and that’s it. The only food she eats with no problems is wet food but we have stopped giving her wet food because we dont want her to get use to only getting wet food. We’ve tried all different types of food bowls, different heights and angles of her bowls (raised bowls) interactive feeders and nothing! When we first got her as a pup we had no issues with her eating what’s so ever, this has just started about 3 months ago and we don’t know what to do anymore. We have run out of options and our only option now is to take her to the vet to get her checked out, she is by no means a skinny dog so we are puzzled. If anyone has any recommendations please let me know. I greatly appreciate it!
