So here's the issue, I really need an animal companion. My whole life I've grown up around many many animals, yet ever since my mom died (7 years ago,) I haven't been able to have one.
I'm 17 now, with a job and soon a license, and basically I can take care of a pet. I suffer from really bad depression, and my therapist suggested a pet.
I have no idea how to convince my parents to let me get one. I'm looking for one that I could teach and take care of in my room and take outside frequently or something (I want the animal to have the best life possible.) Please help! I would like something small and friendly! 😭
