1yo cat aggressive towards strangers, baby on the way... I really need advice.

We got our cat at the end of June last year. She was two months old, and her mother had stopped taking care of the kittens two weeks prior (she was still young too, and not aware of what she should do, apparently...) She bit a lot while playing, and I had trouble explaining my partner he should not play with his hands. The issue got better with time, toys and patience. But now, we moved flats, I'm pregnant, due in October, and she resumed her bad behaviour. I would pet her and after a while she'd start biting. I stop, put her away and ignore her, because I know cats tend to be aggressive if they are pet too long. But she get into a hunting position and jumps on me, even if I ignore her. My hands, legs, even my face are in danger. The vet gave me meds to get her quieter, we have Feliway Optimum, but it doesn't seem to help. My MIL was here for a night, and the cat didn't stop hissing, growling, she was aggressive towards her, she hit (without her claws) her and jumped on her even when MIL was ignoring her... I'm scared for my baby... Behaviour specialists are expensive and we can't afford one right now. I really need help and advice, because there's no way I'm abandoning my cat. Thank you !
