Advice on Neutering?

I am completely torn...

I have a 4 mo. purebred Golden Retriever, and we are looking to enroll him in daycare soon, just for 2 days a week . The policy at the facility says the males have to be neutered after 6 months, or no daycare..

I do NOT feel good about it, I do not want to stunt his growth, and the veterinarian gave me the lovely disclaimer that it could stunt his growth since he is a large dog breed. This is exactly what I do not want whatsoever.

Can anyone else with a large breed/ GR attest to this for me?
