Hello,
Im am really sorry if this is the wrong sub to ask but i really need to know what happened.
His name was Amadeus and he was 3 years old. Everything was ok until 3 weeks ago. After coming home, he was breathing really fast, but would stop after getting him into the room which was colder at that time and considering that outside was really hot, like 47 C, we tought that the temperature was to blame. After this, he started sleeping a lot, more that he did before this. He was eating, he played with us, but after running around for like 10 minutes he would stop and rest until he fell asleep. He was very anxious and would get scared really easy and when this happened, he was hiding for some time under the bed or some place that we could not reach.
Sunday 1st of August, we decided that he needs his fur trimmed and a wash. We packed him into his little home and got to the vet. When we arrived, the same fast breathing started again, but we tought the same thing with the temperature. It's been like this, the high temps, for over 2 months now. Everything was fine, until the end, when he started hyperventilating. His mouth and lips were blue, same as the inside of his mouth and gums. A little bit later, he died, apparently from a heart attack. the vet said that he had congestive cardiomyopathy.
If anyone can help me explain how did this happen, when Saturday he was all good, the next day died, it would really help a lot.
