I adopted a sweet 6 year old cat 3 months ago and just recently she's been getting more short-tempred. I can't take more than 10 seconds to clean her eye discharge without her raising her paw threatening to scratch me. Also, when I look at her through small areas like door cracks or through the railings she just goes for my face (and has succeeded once).
She's still a sweet girl outside of those times but these are recent developments that I don't understand.
