Same cat as my last post sadly :( shes a little more cleaned up but she won’t try for food or water at all even the slightest bit. she has a broken tooth the only surgery we can get her is in a month and i’m afraid she’s lost all motivation and me and my family are at a lose of what to do :( a quick restatement of what has happened the past few days with this kitty: 3 days ago she swallowed an elastic band and had to get surgery to remove the band. it’s been 3 days since she’s started to be able to walk but no interest in food. the vets have said she has a broken tooth and that could be a reason why she isn’t motivated to eat. she has medication that is supposed to help her build an appetite but that isn’t doing much. we’ve been giving her water and food through a syringe to assure she get the right nutrients. she’s also suffered with herpes since she was little. seemed like no big deal but to add on to everything she is drooling like crazy. the vet is away and we have no way to contact her usual vet and i’m at a lose of how to get her motivated again :( her recovery has been going well in terms of healing but mentally for her it’s been awful if anyone has some advice that would be very much appreciated this cat means the world to my family and we want her to feel okay again
