Older medical student that has wanted a dog for over twenty years. Timing hasn’t been right ever since childhood as family was not animal friendly. Venting because it stinks that now I have the freedom but I don’t have the time with my studies. My partner loves dogs but he is also studying for exams in his field. I’ve loved animals my whole life and this just stinks.
