Hi!
We've recently adopted a new kitten (around two and a half months old), and litter training him has been a little bit...inconsistent. Sometimes, he will use the litter box with no problems, but on occasion he will find another place to do his business. At times, I catch him pawing around in the corners of the room, and I have to move him back to the litter box (occasionally once or twice in a row) before he settles down to use it. He's also not in the habit of burying his waste.
Right now, he's using a pretty deep tray for a litter box (twice his size in length and about one and a half his size in width), and we're using around 2 inches of silica crystal non-clumping litter. Is there anything we're doing wrong, and any solutions you might be able to suggest?
