Help with nonrecognition aggression?

Hi. I have two cats, the younger one Kitkat was a feral rescue and generally loves the older one Priya, who is like a surrogate mom to her.

Priya had to go to the vet to get her anal glands cleaned because of an infection in that area, she currently has a cone to not be able to lick the healing abscess. Kitkat is hyperaggressive to her.

I have two rooms set up in my apartment, both have litter boxes, toys and food/water bowls. They are currently separated but it’s been almost 24hrs and Kitkat is still hissing and trying to attack Priya if they see each other.

I’ve given Priya a non-water bath to get rid of the vet smell, I’ve put Kitkat near the towel in Priya’s carrier that smells like the vet and I am unsure if it’s still the anal gland pheromones or if it might be the cone itself making Kitkat aggressive.

What else can I do to make this easier on them? Priya will have the cone for a while and I’m scared this is permanent.
