So last Saturday my cat (5 years old) vomited a lot and had diarrhea. He was barely eating after that, so I called the vet and spoke to a vet tech who told me it was probably just an upset stomach and to feed him chicken and rice or yogurt. We have a new kitten and he’s been stealing her food, the VT said that was what more than likely caused the upset tummy.
He’s always been a picky eater and refused both. So I put plain yogurt into a syringe and gave him a little bit of yogurt and kept the kitten and her food away from him. Shortly after he started eating regularly and after a couple days seemed right back to normal. However today I wake up to a ton of vomiting again.
I don’t know what to do at this point? I had a vet appointment today but I canceled yesterday since he seemed fine. He still seems fine despite the vomiting. Still playful and cuddly.
