So I adopted this cat when he was a kitten, he was about a month or two old, and now he’s about to turn 1, and he’s been SEVERELY misbehaving. And I’m at my wits end because he’s the only cat acting out in the household.
The cats get their own room, (I have 3, 2 are the same age, and one is a two month old kitten)
The kitten stays in the cat tower in our living room, he stays in the room by himself and our other cat sleeps with us cause she likes to.
Anyways, back to how he’s acting out. he consistently DOES not poop in his litter box, I’ve gotten him 2 new litter boxes, and also taken him to the vet and they say he’s completely healthy, I even took him to a different vet and they found nothing wrong, we got him another cat tower for the cat room. And he STILL is pooping everywhere else, he pooped in a stack of my GFs clothes last weekend too (while we’re both at work I leave the doors open so all the cats have free roam to the living room and cat room with the exception of the bedroom.
There’s an additional litter box in the living room and he still pooped else where.
We’ve tried everything I can think of and no success. We’re both tired of cleaning poop of the windowsill and especially agitated he had the audacity to poop on a pile of clothes. He’s literally spoiled, a bunch of toys, cat towers and snacks and his own ROOM.
Any ideas, willing to do anything at this point. Im so close to pulling the trigger and have him rehomed But I love the little guy so I doubt I’ll do that. It’s just unnecessary stress and I’m open to anything at this point
