I live in a triplex, stacked on each other. The neighbors above us have two dogs, a female pit and a male husky. They never take their dogs outside of the house. They have access to a small yard. But it's so full of poop that they've stopped using it. And let the dogs on the deck. The dogs have started defecating on the deck. They don't walk their dogs or ever let them outside of the house. They haven't worked since COVID and are home all day. We live in a mountain community so COVID cases are very low and there's plenty of places for them to take their dogs. I just feel bad for the dogs. My dog stays on the patio most of the day but even if I don't walk her i at least walk her a little away from the house to go potty.
