Leaving windows open with a cat?

I have a four year old cat who I adopted when she was 2. She’s super sweet and cuddly, and she’s always been indoor only. I’ve been looking to move out of my parents house, and I found a really great place on the third story of this old factory building that’s been converted. The only problem is the windows don’t have screens, they just open to the outside and I worry about that with my cat.

Right now I live in an apartment above my parents garage, and I leave my windows open frequently, but they have screens in them so shes never had the opportunity to jump out. I don’t think she’s stupid enough to try jumping outside at this new place because it is on the third floor with no landings below, so she would hurt herself or die if she did jump out. But I am a little worried about her falling, or that maybe she is a little dumber than I though and would try to jump out if she saw a bird or something. I was wondering what other people with cats think about this?
