Was curious if anybody else has this issue. My tortie cat (spayed, 12 years old) will vomit on command if I don't feed her in what she deems a good amount of time. She will find me in the house when she gets hungry and will start meowing to get me to give her food. If that doesn't work, she starts doing other things she knows bothers me, like chewing on plastic bags or scratching furniture. If I still ignore her, she will start vomiting. Sometimes, I've seen her specifically go to the wheatgrass patch I have growing for her and will chew on too much to help her vomit.
Aside from these instances, she is an extremely sweet and well behaved cat. The vet and vet techs always call her a "model citizen" when she goes for visits, nothing at all like a typical tortie. She hasn't had any diet changes or anything like that, and this problem has been happening for a few years now, but no vet I've taken her too has been able to help her.
My question is, does anybody else have a similar experience, and what did you do to resolve it? I'm not too worried since I know she's doing it so I'll feed her, but vomiting still can't be very good for her, especially since she's just starting to enter the "old age" category.
