So we drove an hour and a half to take a look at a poodle mix dog. Owner agreed that we could take him home for one day and see how the allergies are and then bring him back if not. We paid her a rehoming fee. (This was the first mistake lol)
Tried texting/calling but no response. She said she would call after work through text and never did. So I took it upon myself (and my polished online stalking skills) and looked up her phone number and name that she gave. Well she happens to be a news anchor in the area. So I could contact her work if I really wanted to.
I know it was soooo stupid to trust this lady but she seemed genuinely nice. What would you do? We can’t keep him in our home. We were hoping he was hypoallergenic due to his poodle mix but he did not.
We will probably just surrender him to a shelter or put him back on Craigslist but was wondering what you all would do with the given information.
