Euthanasia at home or vet clinic for cat?

My sweet 15 year old kitty has been diagnosed with a tumor in her mouth. The vet recommended we not wait too long, and originally I was going to schedule the euthanasia for today, but she was still eating quite a bit and seemed to be enjoying life. Now, I think we need to do it in the next couple of days before she’s really miserable. I’m your experience was it more or less stressful for your cat to be euthanized at home or at the vet clinic? And how did your other pets deal with it? I think my dogs will be fine, but we have her litter mate so obviously they’re bonded. Do you think it’s better that he sees what happened?

I had always assumed home would be better, but I’m reading now that strangers coming in the home might actually be worse. I’m sure it’s dependent on the cat but I don’t have any idea how she’ll react. Ugh, this is so hard. She’s such a good kitty.
