Issues with old resident female cat

I’ve had my cat since she was a kitten and she’s now about to be 12 in October. She’s always been good about being on her own and using her litter box. She has also always been an indoor cat.

My fiancé and I took in a stray back in April and due to health issues was kept separate for a few months to ensure she wouldn’t pass anything to my cat. In June we adopted a kitten from Florida. Our stray had suffered a miscarriage and seemed very depressed so we figured a kitten would help emotionally and physically. They bonded almost instantly and now roam around the house together constantly chasing and playing.

My resident cat when introduced to our stray hated her and they would get into a few fights before the stray backed down and took that as sign not to go near the resident cat. When my resident cat was introduced to our kitten she didn’t care for her much but wasn’t aggressive aside from a hiss if she got too close.

Once the stray and kitten got along and we’re able access to the whole house (which is only one floor) my cat became extremely reclusive and hiding under the kitchen table. She wouldn’t go eat her food or use a litter box which were in the laundry room and bathroom on the opposite end of the house. She began going to the bathroom under the table and I had to give her meals under the table as well. We put a litter box under the table for her to use so would stop using the floor.

Fast forward to a few weeks later. We’re in the process of moving and now the table is packed away and she only stays in the window sill that was above the table. She won’t come down to eat or use the litter box that are right below her and is now going to the bathroom and on this and her pet bed that’s on the sill. I don’t know what to do. I’m at a loss. I couldn’t never imagine giving her up or the other cats. I have such a strong relationship with my resident cat and it breaks my heart to her like this. If someone has advice even if it’s a little please tell me. I’m desperate to help her.

We’re moving to a three story home and I’m hoping that’ll help with the stress of being close to other cats with so much extra space.
