So I have two dogs, they're brothers and turning 7 at the end of this year. The problem that we have is that we never got them neutered, where I live(southeastern Europe), there is no place to do that anywhere close-by, and we have no means of transporting them either. They are kinda aggressive sometimes, even with me at times, but mostly with other animals, and just recently, I found a dead dog outside that they no doubt killed. I've always been around to try and deal with that, but I'm going away for college and will be living there, so I won't be home to chase around them all the time, to take care of their problems, have to find them when they get off their leashes, sometimes they get stuck in the forest and can't come back etc.
I'm curious to know if neutering at this point would help, if it would make them less aggressive. Now I don't know if it's even doable, but maybe I could contact the closest vet station(still kinda far away) to come here to my place personally and do it here.
I would hope that doing that would make them less aggressive, especially with me not being around all the time anymore. Recently I talked about this with someone who said that it might be too late for neutering to even fix anything, and that putting them down might be the best thing to do. I'd really hope that that's the last resort, I've pretty much grown up with these guys, so I hope never to have to do that. Thanks everyone for your time.
