So I have/had 2 guineapigs, 2 cats and a ferret.
GUINEAPIGS:The 2 guineapigs have been rehomed to a guy i went to school with to a place where they have more friends and access to a huge outdoor area and we can go see them if we like, though I dont. I did this because I had severe allergies to them and had developed trouble breathing and dermotographia which sucked as they were my first furbabys.
FERRET:About 6 months or so later me and my partner found out about some ferrets, when we saw the one we were being offered he was dirty and sick and skinny, as well as being scared and kept in a boiling hot shed. so I took him that day with no more questions to keep him safe and look after him. I want to rehome him, we've had him 6 months hes now healthy and doing well but he bites me (not my bf) and doesnt get on with the two cats so cant get out as much now. I love him but idk if it's right to find him a better and more experienced home with tougher skin.
CATS:We got our 2 kittens last, both gingers I love to bits
one was last pick of the litter of a friends cat, shes lovely and totally hyper. I am considering offering her to a friend who's struggling but loves animals and is very trustworthy as shes expressed how much she would love a kitten/playful cat and our ginger girl is just that. The girl and the cat have met and the cat absolutely loves her.
One is my baby Westley the ginger boy, hes very soothing for me and a perfect fit for me, hes currently laying on my hand purring louder than any other cat I've heard. Someone got him then threatened to kill him if my boyfriend didnt take him (bf is known to love animals and hands out treats to loads of dogs and cats that now love him).
Also I've always wanted a dog, and with the ferret I deffinately cant and with the girl ginger I am still struggling to get her to accept the kitten after I think a month or so. (Smells, thru door feedings and meet ups in kitten not cats territory)
