I just lost 2/3 cats from felv that was given to them by a farm kitten I took in. Everyday I feel like the biggest piece of crap for not having the kitten tested first. It haunts me daily for my stupidity. My one cat has made it to four years and got it from the kitten when she was around one.
She’s not anemic yet and has no sicknesses, but I was wondering if people have had any luck extending a cats lifespan with transfusions when they first start exhibiting signs of anemia.
