This morning my cat smelled my bed and peed on my duvet(in a position it did not look like he would pee in). I did my entire laundry and he has been normal(eating, playing, sleeping, meowing). Once my laundry was done I put the clean duvet and sheets on my bed and he immediately peed on it again in a almost a loaf position but his paws and tail were out. He hasn’t even tried to pee anywhere ever before. This is the first time.
He is 9 months, not neutered, drinks lots of water, poops regularly, cuddles regularly. I would say he has be sleeping sleeping a bit more, drinking a bit more water, and eating less than usual. But everything is the same. His litter box has gotten too small but I already ordered and new one and he likes the actual box and litter and it is always clean. I moved my new bed into the living room where my old couch used to be but it’s been weeks. I did also get my period for the first time in years yesterday morning and he did smell my bed a lot yesterday and today. Also the fur/skin around his pee hole is a bit dark, maybe a bit crusty. But it doesn’t look infected. I will try to take him to the vet tomorrow but for right now I pray he won’t pee on my sheets again once they come out the washer. Any insight?
