Sorry if that question was worded weird, I didn’t really know how else to say it. I’m thinking about getting a cat and would prefer a young cat, I mean I would love a kitten but decided against it due to the fact that I work 5 days a week/8 hours shifts and my roomate might not be there all of the time. How old does the cat have to be to be comfortably and safely alone for 8 hours? They wouldn’t be alone for 8 hours everyday since I only work 5 days and my roomate would be there at least half the time. I just don’t wanna cause any stress to the cat. Thank you!
