I got an 8 week old kitten in May, and up until recently she has been the perfect furry companion. However, a few weeks ago when it started getting cold, I switched the thermostat from a/c to heat. Now, every time the heater comes on the cat screams nonstop until it turns back off. I have 2 other cats and neither of them have an issue. I'm not sure what to do here. I can't go without heat for the winter, but at the same time she feels the need to use top volume every single time the heater comes on, and it interrupts my sleep even with her in the other room. How do I get her to chill the hell out?
