So my neighbours recently moved out and they left behind their baby (2 months old is what I presume) peach faced lovebird behind. She's looked pretty healthy but upon closer inspection it seems that her right leg is not functional. She can't walk or perch. And when she's flying she pretty much falls to the surface. I don't know if it's been this way since hatching. I do have previous experience with lovebirds but I really don't know what is to be done. I did try calling the previous owners but they didn't answer. (The parent birds where also theirs and they took the birds with them) There are no aviary vets or even just vets available where I live and I really want to help this bird. is there some way I can help this poor bird?
