My dog has always been super active, running, jumping etc. However back in may/june i started noticing some differences, she became lethargic, not jumping, shivering. At first I though she had been bitten by a tick (because she had) and had developed a fever/infection. Going to the vet, they made all kinds of blood analysis and she was ok, i requested she made scans and and XRays and it showed she had a fracture in her paw, which explained why she wasn't running and jumping as much. Nothing of this fracture was visible. They also said she had a lot of arthritis which baffles me because it's like she developed it from night to day. she is only six years old, she is so young and in april she was completely ok and alright, how is it that she got those so fast?
Her paw is completely healed, but she has a lot of trouble with her back paws so she doesn't run a lot or when she does, there's a lot of difficulty.
What worries me now is that she keeps shivering and she eats super well but is losing weight to the point her bones are becoming very noticeable. Could there be something in her intestines? Can arthritis cause this?
