Hello, I have a shih-tzu that nearing 4 years old. I am currently dogsitting another dog, half shih-tzu(unclear on the other half), just a bit taller than him and about 7 years old. My dog was slightly bit by a larger dog when he was maybe 2 and he’s always been careful when others sniff his back. The other dog, however is very playful, very kind, and doesn’t growl/bark. My dog has this personal bubble that he doesn’t like when she gets really close, especially when she starts sniffing him. How can I get dog to be more relaxed? we would like a permanent answer as we would like him to be more sociable and we’re planning on getting another dog sometime within the next year or so.
