LAB KEEPS GETTING STUCK IN THE HOUSE...Does anyone know why?

So my Laborador was rescued, from what we were told, his owners left him in the back yard and the neighbours threw food over and called the Lab Rescue after a few weeks.

There seem to be invisible barriers throughout the house where he gets “stuck”. He wants to move but just can't seem to keep walking through. And in other areas he can ONLY walk backward e.g. When he walks into the front living room he can only get there by walking backward through the office and then turn around to go into the living room OR the only other way in is through a hallway (He always gets stuck in hallways) when he have to help him through by standing in front OR over him with out legs apart for him to walk through. Then he's no longer stuck when he walks through our legs.

He's always done this and no trainer has been able to help with this. He will whine, sometimes, until one of us help him through and “unstick” him. There have also been times where he's dedicated inside because he was too stuck to go out the doggie door (this was a night and we sleep upstairs. He doesn't have a problem with the doggie door however sometimes does need A LOT of encouragement to go through it).

So yeah... Doesn't anybody have similar stories or any suggestions of what it may be that Rocky has?
