I'm moving out sometime towards the end of January with some friends, which is going to be great except my dog, Layla (chihuahua), is extremely reactive to pets and people. I've been taking her on walks with one of my friends to try and get her used to him, but due to opposing schedules I've not been able to get her to meet the others. One of my roommates has a dog about Layla's size and the other a cat. She's never bitten anyone or any other animals but she'll definitely bark and growl, so I'm kind of at a loss for what to do regarding the pets. I know it'll be stressful enough as is being in a new place with new people, I'm worried the other pets might be enough to stress her out so bad she gets sick or something. I want to do what's best for her and take her where she can have more space and be a lot more free + a bigger yard, but I don't want to overly stress her. Any suggestions on how to move her in?
Also sorry if this isn't the right place to put this, I've never really used reddit and just kinda need help.
TL;DR: My reactive dog is moving in with two people with pets she's never met before. How can I make it the least amount of stressful as possible?
