So I'm going to be looking after a cousins dog for a few months (German Shephard/Husky mix) and she's 7 months old. I've already met her and she's absolutely lovely. Thing is we have a cat, I obviously want both animals to be completely comfortable and want to take all steps possible to make it so they both get along and have a stress free experience as much as possible.
Our cat is 3 years old and has had contact with other animals (mostly other cats) and his behaviour is sometimes to pounce the other cats (Usually swipes the others tail in a playful way, not really aggressive tbh) but only after they have turned their back (the moment the other cats turn around just to look at him, he chickens out and runs away) He's been in close proximity to a bunny we had and another friends dog and he didn't really give them any attention tbh, he was more interested in other things so I can't tell how he would be with a big puppy dog that we're planning to look after.
So if anybody could give any tips and any relevant videos or readings I should go over to make sure I have a complete and thorough understanding of everything I need to know, that would be great!
