This past Sunday I took in a 7 year old dog. His owners are getting divorced and cannot keep him. He stayed at a different home a week and a half prior to coming here. He is drinking and peeing , but won’t eat. He at 1-2 bites last night. He’s eaten very little in 3-4 days. He appears to be depressed. How common is this and when should I consider taking him to the vet? He’s a beagle/chihuahua mix, neutered.
