Should I get a third cat? Opinions wanted

We currently have two indoor cats in a 940 sqft apartment, both female. One is Chill Cat and one is Crackhead Cat. Chill Cat is ~3yrs old, pretty overweight and chills most of the day. She gets in her playful moods where she chases Crackhead cat around, especially at night but otherwise seems mildly annoyed by Crackhead's presence.

Crackhead Cat is ~10mons old and was intended to be a playmate for Chill Cat. Unfortunately.. she is something else. I've never met a more high energy cat. It was hell when she was younger and Chill Cat thought she was too cool to play with her. Now that Crackhead is older they'll play sometimes, but it's not nearly enough for Crackhead's energy level. She whines all day, scratches at the walls, does parkour on the furniture, ect. I feel like she would benefit from a playmate closer to her age. Primarily because we wfh and she drives us nuts while we're trying to work. Crackhead also tries to cuddle with Chill Cat, but 90% of the time Chill Cat gets irritated and gets up, which makes me sad for Crackhead :( like she wants cat love but isn't getting it.

I feel like it could work, but I'm worried three cats is a lot for an apartment. We do have an outdoor balcony that they enjoy, three cat towers, a bunch of toys.. so I feel like it could work. What do you think?
