My husband and I have had our cats for years with no issues. The first cat, Doom we got 5 years ago as a kitten. The second cat, Spooky we got the following year. They've never been particularly affectionate with one another, it feels like they simply tolerated the existence of the other. But we never had any issues. In the last few months, Doom has started loudly meowing throughout the night (even if we keep the door open), peeing on things, and worst of all attacking Spooky. Out of nowhere today she ran up and chased Spooky throughout our house growling and hissing. To me- she seems to be really territorial suddenly. All my local vets are about 7 weeks out right now, so while I'm waiting for an appointment I am hoping to get advice. What can I do for now?
