Hi everyone! My name is Inna. I have a one month old kitten and she is a gem. She is as playful as a dog, so sweet, and adorable. For this thanksgiving my family wants to take a drive to visit my family that live about 6 hours away. I really feel uncomfortable taking her on such a long trip. Since this is my first pet ever, I do have anxiety about what to do. I myself don't do well with that car ride as I often get sick. I would much rather stay home with her as she is still getting used to the house and the family.
If I were to go on this trip with her what should I do about:
- Bathroom for her (We usually only stop twice for gas along the way)
- Food times, do I feed her before we leave (could this make her car sick?) , during the car ride, or wait until we arrive to feed her?
- How could I make this comfortable for her?
I am so stressed and would feel better if we travel when she gets older. I feel like she is too young, please help me. I want her to feel safe and do what is best.
