My mom is considering on giving away my pets. Their presence has taken a toll once I left for college. Since I'm never there (weekdays), who will feed them, care for them, etc.? My little bro can't do it since he is a irresponsible 10 year old who only ppl plays video games. Father is always on vacation to other countries. Grandmother is handicapped. I don't know what to do anymore since I'm so conflicted. I love my pets to death and always want them by my side; we just have so little time. I want the dogs to see the world (only because 1 is in old age); not confined to kennels (they run away a lot/ helps with anxiety, etc.). However, I don't want to give them up. What should I do?
