My cat Lily (11 years old) has been hiding under the bed lately. She doesn’t do this very often, usually she likes sleeping on the couch or on my bed, but not under it. I also found her under the couch earlier! My other cats sleep under there, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen Lily do it. She doesn’t stay under there all day or anything, and seems to be acting normal otherwise. But is it possible that she’s sick? The only other reason I can see for her hiding like that is the weather. It’s been colder than usual lately (cold for Arizona, anyway) and she likes to hide under blankets and stuff when it gets cold. Maybe that’s why she’s hiding under the bed too? Or am I just being paranoid? I just lost my job and can’t afford to take her to the vet right now, so I’m really worried.
