dog is very curious and playful and likes to put paws on things, licks, and smell things. dog likes to chase around guinea pig. Sometimes he licks the guinea pig. sometimes he paws the guinea pig playfully. sometimes he plays rough with the guinea pig.
The pig would chatter his teeth sometimes and other times run back into his cage, sometimes coward sometimes not. I'm worried that the guinea pig would bite my dog. The pig has a habit of gnawing on the metal cage when he wants something and could do some serious damage.
Would it ever come down to accidentally playing too rough with the pig biting the dog first then the dog retaliating :(
I just want my pets to be happy and play together. any way to get them to understand that? I usually stand in between the two when the dog is chasing the pig to teach him to chill out and be okay with the two together. The pig loves to come out and play on his own and always cowers when the dog chases him. I'm afraid the pig would have a heart attack too :(
