Guys im desperate. My dog 100% refuses to take bad tasting medication. I have tried everything, even covering the pill in butter, rolling it in powdered sugar, then wrapping it with meat so its a piece she dosnt even have to chew. Im so frustrated and can already tell her mouth is infected (she had some teeth pulled, one had an abscess).
Luckily shes not in pain anymore, and hopefully the antibiotics will still be enough. I spent five minutes forcing her mouth open and putting the pill in back. I held her mouth shut for a minute and she still spat it back out. I am just at a complete loss of what to do.
If I cannot get her to take her antibiotics shes going to die a painful slow death which i wont let her go through.
