Feline Anemia

A little off my chest post?

I noticed a lot of flea waste around a beloved cat of about 13 years old recently and did not see many actual fleas crawling on her and did not make as much of it as I could perhaps.

Then some time later she became blind acting (after already apparently being blind in one eye for quite some time due to cataracts or similar?) and soon went to extremely lethargic and lacking appetite and I noticed concrete licking and symptoms led me to guess she was dealing with kidney disease and to guess she was on the verge of death with how fast she was going down hill maybe.

I might have really messed up and proceeded to watch her slowly fade away over the course of a week and a half or so and have a lot of regret concerned with not doing more about fleas earlier even if I did do a little to fight them later than I could have. How about don't overlook how dangerous fleas can be and be careful not to mistake simple flea derived anemia with late stage kidney disease and don't doubt that I feel a lot of pain and guilt and loss with or without scolding.
