I'm looking into ways to automate my home so I can leave for a few days to a week without having a reliable pet sitter- I've figured out how to keep them fed and watered (feeders and fountains), but being let out as little as once a day won't be enough for my dogs, they most definitely will poop and pee in the house.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a way of dealing with this without too much cleanup for the sitter? I've considered puppy pads, but I'm hoping theres something better I haven't thought of, like some sort of litter box for dogs, so that I won't have to come home every day of my life in order to make sure they dogs don't have to smell poop all day.
I realize this is probably a stupid question.
