I seriously can’t do this anymore....

I rescued a dog a few months ago and it took a while but he finally got house trained. I don’t know what happened but recently he reverted back to consistently peeing and pooping in my apartment every single day. I can’t afford to wash all the towels I go through. It’s not just little spots like he tried to stop it. It’s lakes of piss all over my stuff and my floor (luckily they are hardwood) I have no idea why he would revert back to this. There was never a peeing inside problem only pooping. I went from him never wanting to poop to only pooping inside where he felt safe to 100% potty trained and now he’s doing both inside. I work early mornings so I usually put him in the crate when I’m sleeping or when I’m at work depending on how early I last took him out. I get off at noon, feed and walk him, don’t come home until he poops even when it takes over a freaking HOUR for him to poop outside. Then I eat lunch, do chores and take him out around either 4-5 or 6-7 depending on my afternoon/evening plans. Then I go to sleep at 8. I don’t want to keep him in the crate for a while 16 hours while I sleep and work but he goes to the bathroom whenever he’s out of the crate and I’m not there/awake. It’s stressing both of us out because I don’t know how to teach him not to do that when I’m not there to catch him in the act and I don’t want to just lock him up for 2/3’s of the day. Please any advice on training is welcome. It’s seriously making me go crazy. No one in my family can take him off my hands and it would break my heart to give him up but I’m seriously going to lose my deposit if he keeps ruining my floors. The piss sits there for at least 4 hours every time until I either wake up or get home....
