I am a Romanian student and will be studying in the UK starting September 2019. I want to take my dog with me. I have found pet friendly accommodation, still looking. She is an eleven yr old pug. I have 4 more dogs but she always prefers staying alone so it wouldn’t be a saddening separation between them. She has asthma and I am wondering if flying would cause damage to her breathing. Also, I have heard that in the UK, any pet welcomed is put in quarantine for a period of time. I wouldn’t want her to feel scared in any way. She loves traveling, but she’s traveled by car only, so far. Any advice or information regarding how this process works? Is it a bad idea for me to take her with me? I am aware of the reponsibilities and I would take a night cuddling with my dog over a party. I’ve always lived surrounded by dogs and I can’t imagine my life without one.
